I think the chest port installation surgery went well, except it feels weird to have my neck in any angled position now. Between that and the fact that all the pain from the surgery is actually of the pressure variety (ice helps, meds don't) I am avoiding going to sleep.

I forgot the pure joy of having my entire head be teddy-bear-fur length hair, and keep petting it. It's comforting on several levels.
