I managed to stop having a heated discussion with a aggressively clueless person on twitter, so I get a gold star.  Pastors with a "the increased suffering of the poor is no biggie" attitude really kind of freak me out.

I'm still twitchy and my cheeks are hot, though. I don't handle this kind of thing well.

I stay away from twitter because of the enormous amount of cluelessness. Although I had one of those "just need to walk away" moments on Facebook recently where I had to tell someone "I am not going to discuss this anymore and you will never convince me to hate Muslims so please stop trying." The person was extremely rabid about making sure I was convinced that Islam is the religion of the devil and all Muslims are evil. I even explained that kind of bigotry was extremely hurtful to me because of a side of my family that is Arab and Muslim - still, like a derailed freight train she just could not stop the tirade about Muslims=the devil. I had to just walk away.
