It's pretty clear now that the meds are doing nothing to help our grumpy old lady, and she is miserable and exhausted all the time. So this afternoon we are doing the very last trip to the vet. It's going to be so strange not to have an cat in the house, and yet, since she's pulled back into living in only two rooms in the upstairs, and hardly ever seeks out affection, that transition has kind of already started.
It's really been making me think about what I want to happen to me when I get old and sick, and thinking about updating my will to change that. Because I don't want to linger on in pain
