Got proper pics done of some of the big pendants. Note the super elegant fabric draping on the backdrop, I am very proud. ... It's the sweatshirt I was wearing when I sat down to scan new pieces, because it is so much easier to just lay these pieces on the flatbed scanner than get even illumination with regular photography, and then just drape something over the top. #photographytips #productphotography #makeitwork #handmade #shiny #spaceart #behindthescenes

I love the sweatshirt-as-backdrop. And it's way easier than what I did last time I took photos for my portfolio, though that was also a non-standard make-do sort of process. I had to iron! I hadn't had to iron anything in YEARS! Sweatshirt is much better.
