May. 25th, 2016 06:11 pmMade it to the gym with Tammy again today; I hurt a lot less this time than I did after last time, which I suspect is a combination of it not being the first time in ages and actually finishing with some time on the rowing machine instead of going straight from weightlifting to sitting in a car and insta-stiffening up.
While on absolutely every other exercise I am having to start over far lower than I used to lift, I benched at the same level as my best. (Of course, my bench sucks, so that isn't saying that
much.)
And, to complement this health kick, since I got to the gym early I went next door to the Rite-Aid and got a bottle of Tanqueray, like you do. It's fantastic in a strong cup of Morrocan Mint tea. I don't know if that would work with all other gins, though, the aromatics of the two just blend really well, making for a really excellent nightcap.
