ink painting experiments

I had high hopes my sumi ink would play nicely with the alcohol inks to give me nice deep black space, but it's not working at all. No flow, and so very matte. Time to find that tutorial on making your own acrylic inks...


Then again, with deep blue/purples like this, maybe I don't need black
