workshop advice?
Jan. 25th, 2013 12:41 amI'm really wanting to take at least one art workshop this year, preferably in something that works with my current practice rather than being an entirely new medium (so that monoprint class, tempting though it is, is probably a no.)
And I've found a couple of decent candidates, finally, since a post of Bridgette's alerted me to the existence of the Pacific Northwest Art School on Whidbey. The one that works best, schedule and budget-wise, is on a pretty interesting approach that could be useful to me ... but I really don't like the teachers work.
And it doesn't say it is a "learn to paint like me" class, but ... it could easily go there from the description.
And I'm wondering if any of y'all had good/bad/etc experience studying with someone in that situation, and whether it was still worthwhile
