While I don't get to talk to the neurosurgeon until the end of the month, they released my MRI results today, and the tumorbean is exactly the same size it was in August.

I am profoundly relieved, because I just can't figure out how I would have managed the months of surgery recovery right now.

(For those of you just tuning in, it's a benign tumor, so even though the neurosurgeon is gung-ho about cutting it out, surgery is not necessarily called for.)

At one point you were concerned about backpain - where are you now with that?

The discs at L4 and L5 are pretty smushed, but I'm guessing that the hernia/slip fixed itself, because while I wake up stiff every day, I'm not in constant pain. I'm mostly attributing that to ALL THE YOGA. I cannot thank you enough for the Iyengar recommendation. I have also been working a lot on my core and back muscles, which I think is helping too.
