preparing for launch

The plane tickets have been purchased. Our house rental just emergency canceled on us (two months out, which is ... interesting) and we are scrambling to find a new one.  Birth Certificates have been obtained and passport applications are under way. Collapsible canes are being researched. Lists of "things to do in London" are being bookmarked.

It's all rather terrifying.

Way cool! :) How long are y'all gone for?

A month! On the theory that if we're going to drag the kids all that way, we should make it worth it. (S will be working at the London office for part of it, to reduce the financial hit.)

Ooooh fun! Going to see the complete Doctor Who, sherlock Holmes, and Harry Potter locations? :)

I think I'm the only one really into Sherlock (mostly the books) but Who will definitely happen, and Potter probably.
