We have now made All The Cookies. The sprinkles were the kids request and turned out surprisingly well. I feel like a virtuous PTSA mom. Wow! I could only wish I could get it together and make cookies. Every Christmas I aspire to make Christmas cookies and have yet to find the time to get to it. Those look wonderful!

It was for a school thing -- making cookies was the least onerous of the volunteer options for the bike-a-thon. Recipe-wise, let me introduce you to possibly the easiest cookie I've ever made in my life: Betty Crocker cake-mix based sugar cookies.

Pretty much entirely doable by kids over 10, too. My go to answer to "I want dessert and we don't have any" is about to become "you know where the pantry is, go make some."
