I have become addicted to the Great British Bake-Off. Everyone is so nice and Sue Perkins is my new celebrity crush.

I wish US talent shows like this, where they didn't select candidates for drama.

Yes to all of this. I wish the US hadn't bizarrely decided to import only a later season and retitle it strangely, but vodlocker is my friend.

This was exactly my response to Sue Perkins. (Well, that and then [livejournal.com profile] tithonium doing some web searches to answer the question of whether I'd finally gotten a crush on a straight woman.)
