Fun fun. Yeah, jury duty is a pain in the ass. Hopefully you don't get called for a grand jury. I originally got sent to Lawrence, MA, which is on the ass end of the county from me. (And no public transit.) I asked to be moved to Salem, since it had public transit. They were fine with it. They did put me on a jury, but it was only mornings 4 days a week. (I don't think the court in Salem meets on Fridays.)
